Ragdoll cats are as beautiful as they are expensive. The price usually ranges from $400 to $2,500, but you can expect to pay as much as $3,000 for a show-quality feline.

While purchasing your furbaby will be the biggest expense, they are also not cheap to keep. For a Ragdoll you may expect monthly expenses ranging from $265 to $750.

Expenses may include teeth cleaning, which usually costs between $150 and $300, spaying/neutering, with price ranging from $50 to $250, and microchipping which is around $50.

While ragdolls are usually friendly with other cats, a good introduction is always the basis of a peaceful cohabitation between two cats. The first thing you must do before bringing home a new cat is to ensure that both have separate spaces where they can isolate when needed.

Next, before meeting, you should go through a process called scent swapping, where you introduce each cat to the other’s smell. Once that is successfully done, you can start the process of visual interaction.

Only allow the cats to meet face-to-face when they are comfortable enough to do so and make sure to monitor their interactions, at least in the beginning.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 1.2 million views and 122,300 likes on the platform.

One user, Rainydays, commented: “My ragdoll is the sweetest and nicest cat I’ve ever met. He is worth the $2K.”

Moodypencil said: “My sister’s cat is a fancy breed that’s thousands of dollars. I legit got from my neighbors who gave her to me with the name Hennessy.”

Vela Shires added: “My ragdoll was a stray, I don’t think he’s pure ragdoll though but he’s the best cat in the world!”
