90 Day Fiancé stars were pleased to receive a positive update from Deavan Clegg about her son Taeyang’s ongoing cancer treatment.

While documenting her son’s visit to the Make-A-Wish Tower, Devan revealed his treatment has been going well, and moreover, that the little boy seems in more positive spirits.

“Taeyang got to hang his star at the Make-A-Wish Tower! It was such an amazing beautiful moment. Thank you so much @makeawishutah @makeawishamerica,” she wrote via Instagram. “The past two years have been the most challenging years of our lives. Make A Wish has made this cancer battle so much easier. A special thank you to everyone [sic].”

Deavan Says Her Son’s Treatment Is Going Well

Upon thanking the foundation, the reality star gave an update on her son’s health, saying he’s doing amazingly. He’s on track to be cancer-free in a few months, she revealed. “[He] is thriving and doing amazing and has surgery soon to remove his chemo port,” Deavan wrote.

“We are hoping he will get to ring the bell in August and officially be cancer free. Although we still have a few more months of heavy treatment we have high hopes he will beat this,” she went on.

“A special thank you to all of you who have supported us as many know it’s been difficult and we only had support in one camp,” Deavan added. “And that camp includes all of you. Thank you so so much for your prayers, the gifts, the letters and support. It has meant so much to all of us and Taeyang.”

She Thanked Her Fiancé For His Support

Deavan is no longer with Taeyang’s father, even though their relationship (and her attempt to move to Japan) was documented on 90 Day Fiancé. She’s claimed he’s no longer in their son’s life. However, Deavan has been able to move on in the aftermath, and has welcomed another baby with her fiancé, Chris “Topher” Park.

In her post, Deavan had a message for her fiancé, acknowledging him for “everything” he has done to support her and Taeyang. She praised Chris for his unwavering support and dedication during this challenging period, highlighting the significant impact he has had on their lives.

“You have worked so hard for our family and have made so many sacrifices for us. On days I cried you always stayed strong. Thank you for being the best father to our three children,” she reflected. “When Taeyang was diagnosed, I was pregnant and you did everything in your power to make sure both Taeyang and I got the proper care. You spent nights and days at the hospital with Taeyang so I could recover from my surgery and take care of our beautiful newborn.”

Deavan added, “You stay up every night working till morning hours so you have time with us when we need you most.”

Devan’s ex Jihoon Lee hasn’t commented on their son’s ongoing treatment. Deavan has been back in the U.S. for years with her kid (she also has an older daughter from a previous relationship), while Jihoon reportedly still resides in Japan.
