Tori Spelling is currently navigating a divorce as well as serious financial issues while trying to co-parent her six kids with Dean McDermott.
However, the reality star says she’s still open to having more children.
During the most recent episode of her “MisSPELLING” podcast, guest Sara Evans said she’d “love to be pregnant again,” to which Tori agreed. “I’d love to have another baby. Oh, my God,” Tori shared.
Why Having Another Baby Would Be Hard For Tori
However, she admitted she’d likely need IVF for it to be possible. “I’m totally in menopause. But I’m so bummed,” the actress explained. “I should’ve freezed [sic] my eggs.”
It’s not only her relationship status (or should we say, lack of one) that could be a barrier to expanding her family further. Tori is already 50-years old, which could make carrying a pregnancy to term challenging if not impossible.
The 90210 star has also been open about the complications she faced in past pregnancies, making future ones even riskier.
Later in the podcast, while Tori acknowledged more babies may not be in the cards for her, even though she’d like it to be, she does have a creative idea for a movie, based on her situation.
“I have this idea, it’s like a Lifetime movie idea, where a mother steals her kids’ eggs because she’s dating a younger man,” she explained. “It’s called My Daughter’s Eggs.”
Tori Says Dean Already Introduced His Girlfriend To Their Kids
Spelling is already a mother to five children. She and her estranged husband Dean, 57, share sons Liam, 17, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7, along with daughters Stella, 15, and Hattie, 12. McDermott also shares a son, Jack, 25, with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
Tori’s admission about wanting to expand her family comes just one month after she initiated divorce proceedings against Dean, following almost 18 years of marriage.
However, the couple had been separated for nearly a year before they started divorce proceedings, even moving on in other romantic relationships. While Tori has been linked to Ryan Cramer, Dean is dating Lily Calo, and things seem to be heating up, as she recently met his kids after they started living together.
Tori made the admission on her podcast, revealing there are no hard feelings between her and Dean’s new partner, even though they’re still legally married.
“My soon-to-be ex has a girlfriend — a live-in girlfriend — who has met the kids,” Spelling explained to Evans. “And I like her. I actually really like her. She’s supportive of him. They keep each other accountable. They’re sober.”
Dean initially announced his and Tori’s separation in June 2023 via a now-deleted Instagram post. He later confirmed their split to the Daily Mail in November, attributing his struggles with alcoholism to the strain on his relationship with Spelling and their five children. But given Tori’s recent comments, it looks like Dean’s new romance is helping him stay sober.
