Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have quickly become one of the most beloved couples in Hollywood since going public with their romance last fall.
Engagement and pregnancy rumors continue following the couple, and fans can’t wait to see what adorable public appearances they make yet.
But it appears there’s one celeb who’s tired of hearing about their romance – Jana Kramer. The singer recently had harsh words for the couple, accusing them of being “cheesy” and too public facing.
Jana Says She Doesn’t Trust Travis Kelce
During the recent episode of her Whine Down podcast, Jana didn’t hold back when it came to her thoughts on Travis Kelce, comparing him to her ex-husband Mike Caussin, who’s known to have cheated on her.
“He reminds me of my ex,” Jana said. “It just feels a little corny, cheesy. It just feels like he’s loving the attention.”
Jana said she was initially a fan of the couple, but her opinion started to change when she saw Travis at the Super Bowl. She seemed to imply she believes some critical theories that Travis is in the relationship mainly for publicity and fame, and not simply Taylor.
“Honestly, the Super Bowl thing rubbed me kind of the wrong way – the aggression there,” Jana went on, referring the moment Travis screamed and pushed his coach during the heat of the moment.
“And then I’ve just kind of heard things that I don’t love. But again, I just want everyone to be happy is what I’ll default to. I don’t know, it’s something about him that reminds me of my ex that just rubs me the wrong way,” Jana continued.
The musician also said that she feels Travis drinks a lot publicly, saying it makes her curious what he’s like behind closed doors as well as his influence on Taylor. “Every time I’ve ever seen a video he’s just always drunk,” she explained. “And I hope she doesn’t go on that. I see her drinking more now, like the company you keep.”
Travis’ Net Worth Has Expanded Thanks To Taylor
Taylor hasn’t publicly responded to Jana’s comments (though she may end up getting a diss track on her next album), but there has been concern Travis is using Taylor for her fame and fortune, especially given how much his net worth has increased in the wake of their romance.The NFL star saw a spike in jersey sales and an increased in his online following, leading to more brand deals and collaborations, like the commercial he was recently filming for Zen Water. The athlete is also apparently looking for new T.V. opportunities, like the Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity hosting gig he recent snagged.
There’s even been talk that the Kelce family could get their own reality show, catapulting them to fame even further while growing everyone’s net worth.
The longer Travis and Taylor’s relationship continues, the more it seems he’ll benefit from exposure, whether that was his intention in dating the pop star or not.
