Amber Portwood’s fiancé is no longer missing, but he apparently still hasn’t made contact with the Teen Mom alum.
Earlier this month, Amber reported her boyfriend a missing person after he took off with only his car keys and wallet following an argument.
The incident happened only a few days after Gary and Amber got engaged.
At the time, they were visiting North Carolina to attend Amber’s brother’s wedding, which she still attended, even after Gary’s disappearance.
Amber’s Fiancé Doesn’t Want To Speak To Her

Amber as well as several of her famous friends made pleas online to help find Gary, and he eventually was located by police. But it appears he may never have been missing at all, but simply evading Amber, since he’s reportedly yet to communicate with her.
“Amber has not spoken to him and she isn’t reaching out to him,” a source claimed to The U.S. Sun. “She hasn’t really reached out to anyone since he was found. She is pretty hurt by the whole situation and still in disbelief.”
The source also provided insight into what spurred the couple’s argument that made Gary flee (Amber has denied there was any physical aggression, despite her history of being abusive towards partners).
“They talked about the difference in culture between his culture and hers and how his family was not very accepting of her and expressed serious concerns,” the insider said.
“They also said that they didn’t like her past.”
Amber Has A History Of Domestic Violence

Known known for her appearances on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, Amber has had an unfortunate history of criminal incidents and allegations of domestic violence.
Her legal troubles began to surface publicly in 2010 when she was arrested for domestic violence against her then-boyfriend and father of her daughter, Leah, Gary Shirley. Portwood was charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent after footage from the show depicted her physically assaulting Shirley in front of their child. She eventually pled guilty and was sentenced to probation.
In December 2011, Amber’s legal troubles escalated when she was arrested for violating her probation. She was found with prescription medication she did not have a prescription for, leading to a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
She opted for a court-ordered rehab program but eventually decided to serve a five-year prison sentence instead of completing the program. She was released in November 2013 after serving 17 months for good behavior.
Portwood’s history of domestic violence resurfaced in July 2019 when she was arrested again, this time for allegedly attacking her then-boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, while he was holding their then-one-year-old son, James.
Glennon claimed that Amber assaulted him with a shoe and a machete during an argument. She was charged with three felonies: domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery in the presence of a child.
In October 2019, Amber pled guilty to two felony charges, resulting in a suspended jail sentence and probation. Andrew was awarded primary custody of their son, and recently relocated to California, forcing Amber to travel to see James, as per their custody agreement.
