Nick Cannon Reveals Bizarre Reason He Got $10 Million Insurance Policy On His Package

Nick Cannon clearly wants to protect his jewels, perhaps to expend his family further, as the television personality Nick Cannon clearly values his fertility,

given that he’s a father to 12 children and has expressed a desire for an even bigger family.

This seems to explain why he got a $10 million insurance policy on his package – yes, that package.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nick discussed his decision to take an unusual step by insuring his “most valuable assets.”

Why Nick Insured His Most Valuable Body Part

He explained, “You hear about all these different celebrities insuring their legs … so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’ [I’m] just making sure nothing goes wrong.”

Cannon shared this revelation while celebrating the 2nd birthday of his son, Legendary Love. Besides Legendary Love, whom he shares with Bre Tiesi, Nick is a father to a large family. He has 13-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; seven-year-old Golden, three-year-old Powerful Queen, and 21-month-old Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; three-year-old twins, Zion and Zillion, and 19-month-old Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; 21-month-old Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and 18-month-old Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott.

Even though Nick’s latest move may reflect his desire to expand his family further, the television personality has admitted to feeling over extended by having so many kids.

Nick Feels Guilty Having So Many Kids

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he shared in December 2022 while anticipating the arrival of his 12th child. “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”

In response to a report suggesting he pays over $1 million in annual child support, Cannon clarified that the actual amount is even higher. “I definitely spend a lot more than [$3 million] on my children annually,” he stated in 2022.

Cannon also mentioned that he does not intend to rely on the government’s child support system. “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child,” he said, emphasizing that he handles his children’s needs independently, without court involvement. He pointed out that none of the mothers of his children have raised any complaints about this arrangement.

Nick first gained fame as a teenage actor on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show All That in the late 1990s. He then starred in and created The Nick Cannon Show, which aired from 2002 to 2003. Cannon’s popularity soared with his music career, releasing his debut self-titled album in 2003, and as the host of Wild ‘N Out, which premiered in 2005. Now, he remains a popular figure on television as the host of many game and competition shows, like The Masked Singer.
