Oprah Winfrey recently put her slimmed-down figure on display in Idaho after years of publicly battling with her weight, looking fantastic in an all-white outfit.
While attending a conference earlier this week, the TV icon was seen looking more joyful than ever on a bright day in Idaho.
Oprah, 70, was accompanied by media correspondent Van Jones, and her close friend Gayle King at the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference.
Oprah Showed Off Her Toned Figure
The week-long event is renowned for gathering influential figures from the worlds of media, finance, technology, and politics Oprah was radiant in an all-white look complemented by a white and beige crossbody bag. She was seen clutching her conference badge while donning a long-sleeved shirt tucked into high-waisted cargo pants and sneakers.
The online personality completed her look with silver sunglasses and wore her voluminous hair cascading down her chest.
On social media, Oprah has proudly displayed her toned figure following her impressive weight loss transformation, with reports suggesting she’s lost a significant amount of weight in recent years. It’s not implausible, given that the photo evidence speaks for itself.
How Oprah Lost So Much Weight
Despite backlash, Oprah has been open about her weight loss journey over the years. Following a knee surgery in 2021, the television star says she underwent a series of lifestyle changes and became more active to prioritize her health.
“After [the surgery], I started hiking and setting new distance goals each week. I could eventually hike three to five miles every day and a 10-mile straight-up hike on weekends,” she said at the time.
“I felt stronger, more fit and more alive than I’d felt in years,” Oprah added.
She’s also admitted to using a weight loss drug, saying, “Obesity is a disease. It’s not about willpower — it’s about the brain,” she added. “I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing.”
“The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,” Oprah continued. “I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.”
