Corey Gamble and Kris Jenner have been a couple for ten years, and as such, they have been through a lot together.
This, however, might be one of the toughest times, as Kris is dealing with the aftermath of a difficult surgery after a lot of uncertainty and a huge health scare.
After all, “tumor” is one of the most frightening words anyone can hear from a doctor.
However, now that the surgery is over and Kris can focus on her recovery, her and Corey’s priorities are different.
Kris just wants to relax after a stressful ordeal, while it sounds like Corey is more focused on this one activity that’s off-limits during recovery.
Corey Gamble’s Reaction To Kris Jenner’s Surgery
Kris Jenner ended up having a hysterectomy to get rid of the tumor and to make sure it wouldn’t grow back, and like every big surgery, it has a lengthy recovery process. It also takes a lot of activities off the table while she recovers.
Thankfully, the Kardashian-Jenner clan matriarch is on the mend.
“I’m done with my surgery and I feel great,” Kris said in her confessional during an episode of The Kardashians. ”I feel good. I’m a bit swollen. I’m a bit sore. But good.”
She also told her family and partner that the tumor ended up being benign, which everyone was relieved and happy about.
Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick were visiting Kris and Corey, and they asked about her recovery.
Kris said she was “just going to take the next couple of days and try and really chill,” but Corey was less enthusiastic about the recovery process, which would take at least two weeks.
“We can’t hook up for two weeks,” he complained.
The conversation quickly moved on, as it wasn’t a nice topic to talk about in front of Kris’ daughter, but everyone pointed out that it was funny that he was so hung up on that.
Kris Jenner’s Complicated Feelings About Her Surgery
While obviously her health was her priority, Kris Jenner was still sad about having to get surgery. The 68-year-old reality star knew she had to do it, but she still had to mourn a loss when she learned she would have to get a hysterectomy.
“I’ve made peace with the fact that this is happening, but I’m still a little nervous,” she admitted a few days ago.
While she wasn’t planning on having more kids, Kris still got emotional talking about how the surgery meant that it would definitely not happen.
“I loved being pregnant. Love love loved being pregnant,” she said tearfully. “And I do mourn not ever being able to be pregnant again. It was just this delicious time in my life where I felt like everything came to a halt. Life was beautiful. It was the best time of my life. The best years.”
Still, she never doubted for a second that it was the right decision. Even when they told her that the hysterectomy was mostly preventive, she wouldn’t risk the tumor growing back no matter how sad the idea of losing her uterus made her.
“I think I’m very emotional about it because when you’re young you start talking about wanting a family,” she explained in her confessional, “So here we are now talking about it again, and it’s the other side of the process. And it makes me very sad.”
While it’s heartbreaking that she had to go through it, Kris is now on the other side, and hopefully, after she recovers, this will just be a memory of a tough time.
