Despite announcing her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky in 2023, Kyle Richards was apparently still bothered when photos recently surfaced of Mauricio kissing another woman at a Greek airport.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband of 27 years announced their separation in July of 2023, causing a scandal in the Real Housewives universe,

as the two were thought to have one of the more solid relationships in the world of reality TV.

In fact, fans even accused them of manufacturing the split just for ratings.

But now, it appears that Mauricio is moving on with a blonde woman after photos surfaced of the two embracing and kissing at the airport in Mykonos, Greece. While it shouldn’t be surprising that Mauricio is moving on after being separated for over a year, apparently, Kyle had a harder time dealing with the photos. At least according to her sister, Kathy Hilton.

Kathy Hilton Says Photos Were ‘Hard Pill To Swallow’

Page Six posted a TikTok featuring an interview with Kathy at Sutton Stracke’s Sutton Green Label fashion show in Los Angeles.

“I think it was a hard pill to swallow, seeing it,” Kathy told the reporter. “And so what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a little bit, you know, this is bound to happen. You’ve been separated. You know, you’ve said he can do what he wants to do, you can do what he wants to do. You know, this woman was the one that ran up and kissed him, so…”

When pressed further about the photos, Kathy admitted that seeing them was painful.

“Well, I knew eventually we were going to see something, but of course, that hurts me. But yet, it is what it is. And he is allowed to go on dates or kiss if he wants to,” she explained.

“I’ve said, you need to get out there,” Kathy said when asked if she had encouraged her sister to get back into the dating world.

Kathy Has Her Sister’s Back Amid Split

Kathy also spoke to People magazine at Sutton’s event, telling them that her sister is “hanging in there.”

“Kyle is hanging in there. I said, ‘It won’t be the last. There’ll be many, many more.’ I think she’s fine. I think it’s more about how the girls are gonna take it.”

Kyle and Mauricio share three daughters together: Alexia, Sophia and Portia. Kyle also has daughter Farrah Aldjufrie from a previous marriage. All four of their daughters have made appearances on their parents’ reality shows, including Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills.

Kyle Richards’ Close Friendship With Morgan Wade Caused Speculation

This isn’t the first time Kyle has been bothered by photos of her ex with someone else. In October of 2023, Mauricio was spotted getting cozy with his Dancing With The Stars partner, Emma Slater. Kyle responded to the photos during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!, stating she was “taken aback” after seeing them.

“That was very hard to see… That hurt my feelings.”

But the Buying Beverly Hills star’s indiscretions aren’t the only ones making headlines. Kyle’s close friendship with country singer Morgan Wade added fuel to the fire during her split, causing fans to speculate on the exact nature of their friendship. The two had been spotted cozying up in various locales before the separation was announced, which continued in the months following.

While Kyle and Morgan appeared to have cooled off in recent months, the Daily Mail reported that Kyle had been in Minnesota with Morgan just last week, supporting her at a concert in St. Paul.

For the record, Kyle and Morgan have never classified their relationship as anything other than good friends.
