“It’s all a bunch of bull. Don’t know where it came from,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
“Frank has been good, been eating ice cream and watching the Olympics.”
“Frank Frtiz dead” is trending and many articles from random sites have made up a rumor that he died recently.
The YouTube page Code & Coding spoke on the death rumors but shut them down.
Frank’s health, however, had declined in recent years as he suffered a stroke in 2022.
‘PLEASE PRAY’
In July 2022, Frank, 58, had a stroke and was in the hospital for a few days.
His former co-star and friend, Mike Wolfe, shared the news on Instagram.
“I have been very private in the past year in regards to Frank’s life and the journey he’s been on. There have been lots of opinions in regards to mine and Frank’s friendship and the show but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now is the time to pray for my friend,” the Pickers star wrote.
“Frank has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts.”
Mike went on to say that he was praying that Frank made it through this and that he loved him.
American Pickers’ Frank Fritz was rushed to hospital four times for ‘seizures’ and pneumonia as 911 calls are revealed
MEDICAL CRISIS
Despite Frank being fine now, he was hospitalized again when he suffered from seizures and pneumonia, just a few months after his stroke.
The U.S. Sun obtained 911 calls from Frank’s home that resulted in him being taken the a hospital.
On November 17, 2022, his caregiver told 911 that Frank was “having a seizure.”
“He just came home from inpatient rehab for a stroke. He just had a full-blown seizure, maybe more than one… He’s been shaking,” the woman said.
His caregiver asked if there was anything she could do as she was transferred to a medical professional.
Another call from that December had a caregiver calling for Frank’s elevated blood pressure.
Frank moaned in the background of the call as his caregiver told him that he had to go to the hospital.
A few weeks later, a third caregiver called 911 and said that Frank had “possible pneumonia.”
“I’m going to need an ambulance to take someone to the hospital because I think they have pneumonia. I’m the guardian. He’s handicapped. He’s wheel-chair bound,” they said on the phone.
Frank was placed under a conservatorship in September 2022 after he was unable to take care of himself.
He also has not been on American Pickers since 2020, after recovering from back surgery.
Frank entered a rehabilitation center, complete with a golf course and scenic views after his stroke.
