Mariah revealed through her Instagram Friday that she will be going on a Christmas-themed tour starting in early November and ending in mid-December.

“It’s not time yet, but I have exciting news,” wrote Mariah in the picture’s caption.

“Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time, my biggest holiday tour to date, is coming to 20 cities starting November 6, 2024.”

According to the singer, tickets will be available starting August 9, 2024.

In the picture, the six-time Grammy winner posed in front of several Christmas trees with presents littering the floor.

Mariah stood in the photo’s forefront in her iconic red shimmering dress while smiling at the camera.

According to the post, Mariah, 55, is slated to begin the tour in November in Highland, California and make her way through several cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Boston before concluding in Brooklyn, New York.

The announcement triggered mixed reactions among fans.

One user posted on X that the holiday season was “the only time she’s relevant.”

“She loves those ‘All I Want For Christmas’ checks,” a second person jeered.

“She needs to retire and give up the mic,” posted a third person.

A fourth user joked that it was “way too early” for the announcement and that some people were still going “school shopping.”

Several other users were excited about the news.

“Good her Christmas song is real legend,” one fan cheered.

“Get ready to deck the halls and jingle all the way as the Queen of Christmas herself serenades us with her timeless holiday classics,” a second fan simpered.

“Her holiday songs are iconic and I’m sure this tour will be amazing,” gushed a third person.

A few Reddit users also commented they were worried the pop star would end up lip-syncing many of her songs.

“Hope she sings live this time around and just lipsynch the high parts,” wrote one user.

“Nope she won’t, but I’m still going to it,” a second user responded.

The worry about lip-syncing comes after the singer was accused of doing it during her shows.

The accusations first arose at the tail end of 2016 when Mariah was caught mouthing the words during a New Year’s Eve Performance in Times Square.

Mariah opened her show with a rendition of Auld Lang Syne before moving on to a performance of her 1991 hit Emotions.

It was during the high-powered number when the track malfunctioned.

Prior to the incident, it appeared that the superstar was having trouble with the monitors.

“I’m trying to be a good sport here,” she told the stunned audience.

“We didn’t have a check for this song… we’re missing some of the vocals, but it is what it is. I’m just going to let the audience sing. We didn’t have a sound check for this New Year’s baby, it is what it is…

“Get these monitors on please.”

“I wanted a holiday too, can’t I just have one,” she added.

Later on in the performance, it appeared that Mariah was hearing a different track as she belted out the notes of We Belong Together as she closed the song with “Bring the feathers, it just don’t get any better,” before walking off stage.

The singer later posted an Instagram story about the performance.

“S**t happens… Have a happy and healthy new year everybody!… Here’s to making more headlines in 2017…”
