In an Instagram post on Thursday, Shawn teased clips from the Why Why Why music video as he announced the first two singles from his upcoming album.
“Why Why Why & Isn’t That Enough are both out now. go listen,” he captioned the post, alongside a white heart emoji.
Shawn’s fans were ecstatic at the news, wishing him a happy birthday – the release corresponded with his 26th birthday – and sharing their thoughts on his latest tracks.

“So emotional in so many ways, it was worth the wait, the lyrics, the scenes, the faces, and the fact that he’s back!” one follower wrote.

The Canadian singer previously announced he would be releasing a new album and two promotional tracks on social media.
He revealed the news on July 31 in an emotional Instagram post, sharing a heartfelt message with his fan base.
“Music really can be medicine,” he captioned the post.
“2 years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was.
“A year ago I couldn’t step into a studio without falling into complete panic.
“So to be here right now with 12 beautiful finished songs feels like such a gift,” he continued.
“Honestly thank god for my friends and family,” he wrote, and followed up by mentioning several people by name.
“Life can be brutal but having a small group of people you deeply trust to walk you through makes it so much better.
“I have no idea how I would have made it through the last couple years let alone make an album without you,” he added.
Shawn also thanked his “unbelievably supportive” followers, and says he hopes they love the album as much as he does.
“I hope it makes you feel warm and close to the earth like it does for me,” he shared.
