The ’00s star both directed and produced the movie, which stars singer Nick Jonas, 31, along with Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh, and Elisabeth Shue.

The 41-year-old actor posed on the red carpet at the film event, which was held on Tuesday at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.

The director was also seen posing alongside Nick and producer Brett Ryland, who all gave subtle smiles on the red carpet.

Robert put on a serious expression as he stood with his arms crossed in front of his body.

He wore a white T-shirt with red lettering that was partially covered by a black suit jacket.

He finished his look with black slacks and tan dress shoes, opting for a simple and casual vibe.

Robert brought some nostalgia to his look with his signature hairstyle, which was a long shag that was similar to the one he rocked in The Princess Diaries.

Robert became known for his role as Michael Moscovitz, the boyfriend of Anne’s character, Mia Thermopolis, in the iconic film.

“Really, it was all about my band even before I got the part in [Princess Diaries],” he said.

“I’ve always been real close to film world. I love film, and I will do things in film, but music is more satisfying. It feels more like me.”

Robert is married to Zoey Grossman, and the two welcomed their twin sons, Lennox and Nino, in late 2020.
