According to MailOnline, Molly-Mae had taken a rare night away at her mother’s home in Hertfordshire and entrusted their daughter Bambi, who was 12 months old at the time, into the care of her dad.
Upon returning to their mansion she was reportedly confronted with a troubling scene.
Friends claim that Molly-Mae found their home in a mess with a group of Tommy’s friends passed out on the sofas, and “empty bottles scattered across the marble countertops”.
Meanwhile, Bambi had been left in the care of a nanny, rather than her dad as planned.
The incident is said to have led to a heated argument between the couple, with Molly-Mae deeply upset by Tommy’s behaviour.
The Sun has contacted their reps for comment.
Molly-Mae, who was raised by parents who were both police officers, doesn’t drink alcohol.
Her own parents’ separation also made her acutely aware of the pain caused by divorce.
She candidly discussed the trauma caused when she was a teenager in her memoir Becoming Molly-Mae.
In the book, Molly-Mae also revealed that her mother turned to alcohol during that difficult period, which has made her especially sensitive to any signs of similar issues in her own life.
