Prince William has shed some light on an apparent cheeky sibling rivalry while visiting a school in Wales.
The proud father of three couldn’t resist talking about his own kids while chatting with pupils at Swiss Valley Community Primary School, in Llanelli, including 10-year-old Ruby Davies.
Talented Ruby went viral earlier this year after winning the individual reciting competition for Welsh learners at the weeklong Urdd Eisteddfod festival, which celebrates Welsh culture and language.
In a sweet clip that swiftly went viral, young Ruby could be seen grinning from ear to ear as she accepted her award, telling delighted onlookers, ‘I love performing as well!’
During her chat with William, 42, Ruby presented the heir to the throne with friendship bracelets for ‘the prince and princess’. Of course, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, recently revealed they were Swifties after attending Taylor Swift’s Eras tour with dad William, even grabbing a coveted selfie with Taylor herself.
However, it looks as though youngest sibling Louis, who is only six years old, could have his eye on the bracelets if his brother and sister don’t watch out…

Appearing touched by the thoughtful gesture, William told Ruby: “Thank you so much, they’re going to love these. You’ll see them out and about. I’ll keep them away from Louis because he’ll try and steal all his sister’s bits!”
This surprisingly relatable insight into the Wales household comes after the family offered an uplifting update on mum Kate’s progress amid her cancer journey. In a deeply personal video with her family, which saw them enjoying themselves in the countryside, the princess confirmed she had completed her course of chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis.
