When Amanda heard about Bear, a lost and abandoned dog in the mountains of Evan’s Creek, she knew she had to help.
She and her friend Dylan decided to go and find the lonely dog.
For over an hour, Amanda and Dylan tried to lure Bear with food and treats, but nothing worked.
The next day, they went back and saw Bear in the same spot.
Again, they tried to get him to come closer, but he wouldn’t.
That’s when the girls came up with a very creative plan. They decided that Amanda would lie down and ‘play dead,’ acting like she needed help.So the next day, Amanda lay down in the area where they thought Bear was.
What happened two hours later has warmed the hearts of thousands of animal lovers.
It all started when a driver saw a dog at a campsite in Evans Creek, Washington State.
The dog looked scared and hungry. When the driver tried to get close, the dog became aggressive.
A few days later, a girl named Amanda heard about the wild dog, called Bear.
Amanda and her friend Dylan decided to try to rescue the dog and take him to an animal hospital.
They tried to lure Bear with treats, but it didn’t work. The dog was still too afraid to come close to people.
So Amanda decided to try a different approach.
She lay down in a fetal position and pretended to be dead.
Soon, Bear seemed to feel the need to help.
He came up to Amanda, sniffed her for 20 minutes, but then lost interest and walked away.
