They ended up singing “When I Said I Do.” Clint said, “I said, ‘Sing this with me,’ because she would harmonize with me while I cooked in the kitchen. After two days of singing together, I told her, ‘You need to record this with me.’”
At first, Lisa hesitated and suggested he find a real singer. When he asked why she was nervous, she admitted it felt like a big deal to her.
Clint convinced Lisa that if she didn’t record the song with him, she might regret it, especially if he found someone else to sing it.
Their daughter, Lily, also showed interest in singing. When they heard her, they realized she had a talent worth nurturing.
Now, the couple has taken their show called “Mostly Hits & The Mrs.” on the road, making it a family affair with Lily joining them.
