During his first christening in 2018 at the Chapel Royal in St. James Palace, Princess Catherine of Wales was overheard telling the Archbishop of Canterbury that her youngest child, Prince Louis, was “very relaxed and peaceful,” and that she hoped he would stay that way.

However, it seems that the Princess may have unknowingly tempted fate, as the then four-year-old royal’s antics during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 were anything but tranquil.

As Louis danced, Charlotte, who appeared to be a little more composed, gently reprimanded him, telling him to “stop doing that” and “watch the parade.” Louis, however, wasn’t so keen on listening, responding with a cheeky “Nope.” The moment was both adorable and relatable, as many parents could relate to dealing with a child who simply couldn’t contain their excitement.

It was also during this playful moment that Louis asked his mother, “Can I play with the beads?”—a question that Catherine quickly shut down, replying, “No, I need you to concentrate on the parade.” It was clear that Louis was having a great time, despite the gentle reprimands from his older sister and mother.
