Prince William, the Prince of Wales, recently made a delightful revelation about his youngest son, Prince Louis, during his appearance at the 12th annual Tusk Awards.
As a father of three, William spoke with joy about his son’s budding musical interests, sharing that Louis, at just six years old, is currently learning to play the drums.
At the prestigious event held at the Seavoy Hotel, Prince William mingled with rock stars such as Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood and Dire Straits’ guitarist Mark Knopfler.
During a reception before the awards ceremony, the Prince of Wales joked that there was enough creative talent present to form a band, adding that Louis’ drumming skills might just add to the rhythm.
“My youngest is learning the drums, and that’s why I spend my entire life with my fingers in my ears,” William quipped, revealing his playful side.
The royal father also reflected on his aspirations for his children, expressing a deep concern for the future of the planet. He spoke about the importance of ensuring that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis grow up in a world where incredible wildlife still exists, warning about the impact of climate change. William’s commitment to environmental causes is well-known, and it seems his concern for the planet is something he’s keen to pass down to his children.
In fact, Prince Louis’ love for dancing seems to run in the family. The royal family’s dancing moments are cherished by fans, with videos showing Charlotte’s graceful movements during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, George’s dancing at the Coronation Concert for King Charles in 2023, and even Princess Catherine participating in a traditional Bisan Garafuna festival in the Caribbean in 2022.
