Aliyah Boston of WNBA Indiana Fever walked off the court visibly frustrated. Kelsey Mitchell of WNBA Indiana Fever had just poured in 24 points while running the offense out of position, and the Fever had clawed back from 17 down without Caitlin Clark of WNBA Indiana Fever. They still had the game in their hands. Then, on one final possession, it slipped away — and she is furious at the corrupt WNBA officials in their loss to the Dallas Wings.
Aliyah Boston Reacts to Troubling Indiana Fever News on Friday
The Indiana Fever were dealt a major blow to the roster ahead of a matchup against the Chicago Sky.
Indiana has won five of its last seven games, finding unexpected success without Caitlin Clark. Though they have lost two straight this week to the Los Angeles Sparks and Phoenix Mercury.
As they head into a matchup against Chicago, the Fever announced the loss of two members of their backcourt, Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald.
Both players have been ruled out for the remainder of the season after being injured in Thursday’s loss to the Mercury. McDonald suffered a broken bone in her right foot, while Colson suffered a torn ACL in her left knee.
After the news was released online, teammate Aliyah Boston took to social media, sharing her reaction, while sending a message to both Colson and McDonald.
“We got y’all bookies,” Boston said.
