According to reports, Brad Pitt is more ready than ever to put his legal battle with Angelina Jolie behind him, with reports claiming the actor is even open to agreeing to a not-so-ideal custody arrangement if it means they can put it to rest.

He’s apparently ready to start a life with his girlfriend, Ines De Ramon, especially since she just finalized her divorce. But Angelina appears to be the one thing standing in the way.

“Brad really wants this to be finalized more than anything,” a new source revealed. “If it were up to him entirely, this would have been wrapped up a long time ago.”

“Ines finalizing her divorce from her husband and moving in with Brad spurs him on to finalize with Angie more than ever,” they continued. “Brad wants to move forward with Ines, and he can’t when he is technically still married to the mother of his children.”

Angelina has been publicly silent about their ongoing legal battle, but she recently revealed in a court filing that Brad was abusive towards her long before their 2016 split, or so she claims. But the actress says the private jet incident that’s regarded as the catalyst for their divorce was the first time he got physical with their kids.

Even The Kids Are Begging Angelina To Drop The Legal Battle

The former couple’s children have apparently begged them to end their years-long legal battle. Until now, they haven’t officially finalized their divorce or agreed to custody. But even last year, reports claimed Angie was the one unwilling to bury the hatchet.

“She is going to drag this [custody battle] out until the twins [now 14] turn 18,” a source said last August. “Four more years.”

“Angelina doesn’t want to let her fight for sole custody go, but the children are growing up, and even they tell their mom it’s time to stop,” another source told Radar Online in June. They adder hat the kids are “fine” seeing Brad. “Maybe with the exception of Maddox, they all actually like him,” they went on.

It’s been reported that Brad has spent over $14 million on their legal battle until now. And it seems he may have to continue footing the hefty bill, with Angelina unwilling to relinquish her fight.

Angelina Is Preventing Brad From Marrying His New Girlfriend

Even though their legal battle wages on – and Angelina is technically what’s standing in the way of Brad making things official with Ines – reports say the actor is keen to start a family with his much-younger girlfriend, who’s almost 30 years his junior.

“Brad and Ines are smitten with each other and she recently moved into his Los Feliz mansion, proving how serious they are,” a source told Closer Magazine . “He’s known from the outset that Ines wants to become a mum and that’s something they discussed very early on, given their 30-year age gap.”

“After everything he’s been through with his children, he’s keen to make a fresh start and create new memories,” they continued. “Brad’s not getting any younger, so it’s something they would like sooner rather than later. He’s even joked about doing the school run in his 70s and hopes that he’ll still be seen as a heartthrob!”

Despite Brad’s desire to officially move on, his divorce from Angelina remains ongoing.
