Ariana Madix’s Vanderpump Rules co-star has pleaded with fans after revealing Something About Her cut her hours.
The co-owner is under fire from fans of the Bravo reality show following a concerning social media post from Ann Maddox.
Ann, who was introduced to fans in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules as Tom Sandoval’s assistant before going to work for Ariana, 39, posted a link on her Instagram Story and begged fans to vote for her podcast, We Signed An NDA.
She revealed in the post that she was desperate for the show “to succeed” after losing shifts at Something About Her.
“Well my hours got cut at the shop so I have no choice but to have this succeed,” Ann shared.
“Please vote for my podcast so that we can get host read ads and pay my rent thank you!”
Ann did not share a reason for her hours being cut, leading fans to speculate about the fate of Something About Her.
SOMETHING WRONG?
Rumors began swirling that Something About Her was shutting down after Ann’s post appeared on Instagram.
The sandwich shop, located in West Hollywood, opened in May 2024 after many delays.
Now fans fear it may not be long before the business ceases to exist.
Following Ann’s post, VPR fans flocked to an online message board to share their thoughts.
“Is SAH shutting down or something?! Why would her hours get cut?” one commenter asked.
Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s ex-sandwich shop chef slams ‘underwhelming’ menu and thinks stars’ business ‘will fail’
Others wondered if perhaps something had gone wrong between Ariana, Katie Maloney, and Ann.
“This doesn’t feel like something someone who is on spectacular terms with their employer would say publicly,” one fan wrote.
“It’s pretty lame when they took care of her. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes but if this isn’t a last resort it’s extremely odd to call out your employer,” a second noted.
“She doesn’t seem to realize posting this will potentially burn a bridge as it’s making SAH look bad,” a third posted.

The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Ariana and co-owner/co-star Katie, 37, faced a number of setbacks in opening their restaurant.
The duo initially suggested opening a sandwich shop together in a January 2022 episode of VPR but it took more than two years for it to become a reality.
Ariana is often away from the shop as she has had a number of work commitments outside of the restaurant and VPR, including hosting Love Island USA in Fiji and appearing on Dancing With the Stars.
BACK TO BUSINESS
In late July, she was photographed outside the shop for the first time after returning from six months of filming the reality competition series.
The U.S. Sun previously reported that the cafe’s staff were “disappointed” that customers hadn’t had many chances to see Ariana due to her schedule.
Days after the sighting, Ariana was set to reprise her role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago, which would pull her away from the shop yet again.
Despite fans’ concerns, a source exclusively assured the U.S. Sun in June that business is booming at Something About Her.
The insider also noted that VPR lead Lisa Vanderpump has a restaurant – Sur – just a few doors down, which has been majorly beneficial to Something About Her.
As previously reported by The U.S. Sun exclusively, Something About Her has raked in $1.8 million in merch sales alone.
