As the October half-term break unfolds, the Prince and Princess of Wales are reveling in quality family time with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
This year, the royal family is set to partake in some spooky festivities as they retreat to their country home in Norfolk.
From October 29 to 31, their grandfather, King Charles III, will host a unique “make your own pumpkin house” activity at Sandringham Estate, inspired by the beloved children’s book *Pumpkin Soup* by Helen Cooper.
This delightful event promises to engage the royal children in local traditions, as they embrace the Halloween spirit alongside other festivities.
Historically, the family has shown a playful side during Halloween. Carol Middleton, Kate’s mother, has shared insights into their celebrations, revealing that the Princess has been spotted purchasing costumes from local shops, like Saints Spes. In 2022, the family enjoyed trick-or-treating in their neighborhood, where a friendly encounter was reported by local resident Jay Rodland, who described Kate as “very down to earth” during a Halloween visit.
While enjoying their holiday, Prince William also shared snippets of family activities, including watching sports together.
Although royal duties may keep him busy, he took time to personally congratulate Billy Moore for breaking the Ironman record at the World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Amidst the festive spirit, Prince William is gearing up for a significant week as he releases a new documentary focused on homelessness, part of his “Homewards” initiative aimed at tackling this pressing issue across six locations in the UK. The documentary, titled *The Prince William: We Can End Homelessness*, showcases his journey, including reflections on his own experiences visiting homelessness charities with his mother, Princess Diana.
