It’s sometimes difficult to believe that Demi Moore is now 61 years old. She certainly doesn’t look it by conventional standards, if you ask me.

I guess in today’s time of surgical procedures and ever-improving diets and fitness routines, it’s not too much of a surprise to see those with inexhaustible amounts of money maintaining a youthful appearance well past that time in their lives when people commonly begin to show their age.

In any case, Moore seems to have cracked the code.

The Indecent Proposal star regularly finds herself the subject of commentary from fans and critics alike online, many of whom appear to be obsessed with her look.

That proved no different after the actress enjoyed a day by the river alongside her family to celebrate the 33rd birthday of her second daughter, Scout LaRue Willis.

Pictures of the event were shared by Demi’s eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, on Instagram with the caption: “River Monsters for @scoutlaruewillis birthday.”

One particularly adorable image showed Moore with her granddaughter Louetta. The 61-year-old looked nothing short of spectacular in a two-piece bikini, and yet there were those online who felt the need to air unpleasant sentiments.

“Sagging Skin and wrinkles all over,” wrote one person.

“I can see the lipo scars from here,” said another.

“Her bikini days are over,” chimed a third.

A fourth added: “Baby is very cute…the womean are self obsessed. Mature [sic].”

Others were kinder with their comments, with some praising Demi for her look. One person hailed the movie star for the candid pictures.

“I have a whole new respect for you Demi. People talking about all the plastic surgery you’ve had yet you’re showing the real you here. I’ve always been self conscious about my stomach and belly button area after having kids, I’m gonna just keep working out that area and what I have is what I have [sic],” they wrote.

Indeed, Demi’s journey towards body positivity has been a long one, with its fair share of twists and turns. Back in a 2012 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Moore admitted: “I have had a love-hate relationship with my body.”

It’s been a difficult time of late for the actress, what with the heartbreaking frontotemporal dementia diagnosis handed down to her ex-husband, Bruce Willis.

Last year it was reported that Moore had even moved in with Bruce and his current wife, Emma Heming Willis, to help the Die Hard star. Those claims were later refuted by Emma, but Moore remains close to the family.

Earlier this year, she provided an update on Bruce, telling Good Morning America: “I think, given the givens, he’s doing very well.”
