Amid reports of ongoing marital problems, Ben Affleck apparently has another gripe with his wife Jennifer Lopez – the fact that he felt pressured by her to get work done, which has backfired amongst his fans.

Affleck participated in Netflix’s recent Tom Brady roast, but fans were surprised by the actor’s appearance, with many taking to social media to say it seems like Ben went overboard with the filler and Botox.

Affleck Allegedly Wishes He Never Altered His Appearance

Speaking to In Touch, a source says the criticism is getting to the Batman alum, and he’s apparently taking his frustration out on Lopez, who encouraged him to do cosmetic enhancements in the first palce.

“Ben’s comedy roast of Tom Brady seems to have backfired,” the source explained. “He was coming for the public’s negative social media comments towards Tom but ended up igniting a firestorm about his own appearance. He’s furious because he’s getting slammed for fillers and Botox that Jen pushed him to get.”

“Ben’s upset with Jen because if it wasn’t for her he would never get work done, but she’s convinced him that everybody in Hollywood does a little facial maintenance, including his good friends, like Matt Damon,” they went on.

While “[Ben] takes responsibility for agreeing to certain procedures, but from now on he says he wants to age gracefully,” the insider went on, implying Affleck is done seeking professional help to maintain his youth.

However, this may not be sitting well with Lopez, as the insider says the singer “doesn’t agree” with Ben’s perspective. “She says he looks great, but that’s where they’re at,” they continued.

Things Have Been Rocky With Lopez And Affleck For Months

Reports have been claiming for months that things are rocky between Lopez and Affleck. One recent report suggested Ben has been supporting his ex-wife Jennifer Garner after her father passed away. Considering there have been claims J.Lo has an issue with how close Ben remains to his ex (one report says Garner was event he reason Lopez insisted on couple’s counseling), it may be adding stress to their marriage.

“He has been checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad’s passing. It was the kids’ grandfather and Ben and him always got along,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “He considered him family and always will.”

The same source seemed to subtly deny rumors of problems in Affleck’s marriage, adding, “They are doing well and are very happy together,” they dished. “Their kids bring them even closer together and keep them humble. Jen and Ben are supportive of one another and just want the best for their relationship and family.”

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2018 and share three kids. The director went on to marry Lopez in 2022 nearly two decades after rekindling their romance.
