It’s not looking good for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, as the couple continue to face allegations that their marriage is heading toward divorce.

As J.Lo’s career takes a hit, with reports of poor ticket sales and a lackluster fan response to her new music, it seems to be taking a toll on their relationship.

“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” a source claimed to In Touch. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!” Moreover, the insider claims that Ben has “moved out” of the home he shares with Lopez, as he’s apparently growing tired of her behavior.

Ben Has Allegedly Already Moved Out

Fans have observed a growing trend of Ben and Jennifer spending more time apart in recent weeks. Notably, the actor opted not to accompany his wife to the Met Gala on May 6, despite her prominent role as co-chair of the event.

While Ben cited his commitment to filming The Accountant 2 as the reason for his absence, the source insisted to In Touch this isn’t the case. Rather, Ben’s absence was because the couple “decided to call it quits.”

“He’s focusing on his work and his kids now,” they continued. “Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”

Money Problems May Have Ruined Their Marriage

While the couple own multiple properties, it’s suspected the source is referring to the mega-mansion they purchased last year after years of house hunting. But just months after the deal, it was reported the couple took out a mortgage on the home, causing fans to question why.

Last October, reports claimed the couple finalized a significant $20 million mortgage through JPMorgan Chase Bank for their newly acquired mansion, despite initially purchasing the property outright with cash. Valued at $61 million, the estate was originally reported as being bought by J.Lo and Ben in May.

Last year, it was reported that Lopez as insisting on singing a post-nuptial agreement, as she fear divorce. Despite both being worth hundreds of millions each, they apparently didn’t sign a prenup before their marriage, making a potential divorce complicated.

While Lopez is apparently growing frustrated with her career at the moment, Ben has admitted to not enjoying the publicity that comes with his marriage to Lopez. He even confessed this on her Amazon documentary, released earlier this year.

Ben said he accepted he’d need to make compromises to make their marriage work, but given his discomfort discussing his persona life in the public eye, appearing in the doc was a bold move – and may have caused a lot of tension in their marriage.
