Blake Shelton seems to be indirectly referencing reports of troubles between him and Gwen Stefani by sharing a steamy image from their latest vacation.
Blake and Gwen have been living it up in Italy recently to celebrate his birthday. On Tuesday, the country singer took to Instagram to share a couple of amusing snapshots from their festivities.
Blake And Gwen Partied Hard In Italy For His Birthday
In the first photo, Blake can be seen wearing a disco ball helmet and a pair of orange circular glasses with “Happy Birthday” written on top, all while smiling slightly at the camera. He added a vibrant touch to his outfit with a green and yellow button-up collared shirt.
The second image showed Blake passed out on the side of his bed, wrapped in a gray blanket with pillows strewn across the mattress. Balloons, including silver ones spelling “Happy Birthday,” adorned the hotel room, propped up by the bed.
In his caption, Blake wrote, “Thank you @gwenstefani for the greatest birthday ever!!!!! Plus we finally found the hotel…,” referencing a previous social media post where he mentioned drinking a bit too much.
He then made a follow-up post, adding, “Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody. I’ve drank so much in Italy that Gwen wanted to be sure I made it back to the hotel safely… I’m still not there though.”
Fans Now Claim Blake And Gwen Are Couple’s Goals
Fans flooded the comment section of his first post with jokes and well-wishes. One fan remarked, “The pic of him sleeping in his clothes is priceless. He’s living his best life. Love these two,” while another noted, “That def looks like it was a good time!”
A third echoed the sentiment, saying, “Looks like you had a great time in Italy and had a great birthday.” Another fan observed, “Blake. I have never seen you this happy….., all because of your wonderful wife, Gwen. It’s wonderful to see the love you share.”
A fifth fan added, “There isn’t a single time that Blake Shelton didn’t make me laugh out loud! We all need to have someone like him in our lives.”
No one seemed to be speculating anything was amiss in Blake’s recent photos, but for months, the couples have been faced with accusations of a rift in their relationship. Not only did so-called sources claim the pair were becoming distance, but the rumors intensified after they spent the holidays apart due to work obligations.
Gwen and Blake have been married since 2021. Before that, they connected as co-judges on The Voice. Gwen was previously married to Bush singer Gavin Rossdale, whom she shares three sons with. Their union lasted from 2002 to 2016. Blake conversely was married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.
