Britney Spears is reportedly continuing to worry those around her spending habits.
Apparently, she’s dropping more cash than she has, with one report claiming she’s at serious risk of going broke.
“She could run out of money if she keeps spending the way she’s spending,” a source claimed to In Touch.
“She’s earning a fraction of what she did in her peak earning years. She’s a social media star now.”
While many fans would love to see Britney return to music, the singer has been adamant she doesn’t want to perform following her release from her decade-long conservatorship. She made a few million from the release of her memoir last year and has expressed a desire to write a sequel, but with few paid collabs and limited royalties from music, it’s true that Britney’s finances may be dire.
Britney’s Spending Is Allegedly Worrying Her Loved Ones

“Britney’s not looking to go after Sam [Asghari],” the insider said of Britney’s desire to use another memoir to shed light on her recent divorce. “She just wants [to talk about] why the relationship broke down.”
Earlier this month, Britney took to Instagram to showcase that she’s enjoying her best life, opting to spoil herself with a lavish trip. But a report echoed the same sentiment as the recent insider, as those around the pop star are apparently concerned she can’t afford her expensive trips.
“She cannot afford this. She had $60 million when the conservatorship ended, and she’s now where the conservatorship started — in danger of going broke,” a source told TMZ, claiming Britney can spend millions on a single trip.
Britney Could Be Put In A Conservatorship Again

There are growing concerns that Britney Spears might be placed under a conservatorship again due to her recent actions. This speculation has intensified, not only because of her rumored money problems, but also because of an incident at Chateau Marmont involving her contentious boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz. The altercation led to paramedics being summoned to treat Britney’s ankle injury.
Fan accounts have been active again, reigniting the online FreeBritney movement, which she acknowledges for its role in ending her conservatorship, according to The Guardian. These fans view the Chateau Marmont episode as part of a potential effort to reimpose conservatorship.
Different perspectives have emerged, with some arguing that the conservatorship exposed her to the very pressures that might have caused her erratic behavior in the first place.
However, Reinstituting the conservatorship could potentially aid her financial management as well. “She has no concept of money. For over a decade, other people were in charge of her bank accounts, and every purchase had to be reported to the court — even if it was just a pack of gum. But now, she’s on her own,” a source informed Page Six.
Despite ongoing rumors about her financial troubles, Britney has chosen not to comment on them. Instead, she continues to share images from her recent luxury vacations, even though these expenditures might be depleting her wealth.
