WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark returned to Des Moines on Monday, where she donated backpacks filled with school supplies to students at McCombs Middle School and unveiled a new outdoor court funded by her foundation and Musco Lighting.
“It’s always fun to come back and be in Des Moines. This place means so much to me and to continue to come back and do this every year,” Clark said.
This marks the second consecutive year that Clark has hosted the event.
KCCI’s Jeff Dubroff was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting the new opportunities the court will offer to student athletes. He spoke with some of the excited students. Watch in the video player below.
