In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by ViralThingz, Taveras appears to shove the security and appears to be telling her not to touch her while she tries to pose for photos. Although there is no audio and the dialogue is unclear, you can clearly see the actress gesturing to the staff to give her some space.

There has been a strong reaction to the video, with fans commenting and tagging the official Cannes Film Festival X page. “@Festival_Cannes, the security guard who keeps putting their hands on people without cause, needs to be released immediately,” one comment reads. Another person shared similar thoughts, writing, “I don’t understand so, she hasn’t been fired?”

Others take issue with the way the footage was filmed. “Funny how they slo-mo’d the pushing part and not the part where the guard put her hands on her without invitation,” a comment reads. Another X user also weighed in, writing, “Every time that security guard tried to pull up the train when she was actively trying to display it had me shouting DON’T TOUCH THE F***ING DRESS alone in my living room.”
