Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan continue to navigate their divorce years after filing, but new revelations are making the situation even messier, including Channing’s accusations that his ex is a liar.

In new court documents revealed by Daily Mail, the actor said Jenna’s accusations about him – mainly that he misrepresented his earnings so as not to have to pay her as much during their separation – are “false.”

“I have always agreed for her to have an interest in the Magic Mike intellectual property and related entities,” Channing said in court docs. “I have never denied her share of any community assets or income. Her claims that I have ‘colluded with third parties’ are completely false.”

The actor continued, “She has had complete access to all our financial records for all activities during our marriage and since separation. I continue to provide her with updates regarding Magic Mike financial matters.”

Moreover, Channing has accused Jenna of deliberately trying to stall the court case (and thus their ability to finalize the divorce) in hopes of getting a bigger settlement for herself.

Dewan reportedly sought a postponement to facilitate the deposition of Tatum and several of his business associates. Court documents reveal she claims her Channing devised a complex web of LLCs and companies to obscure the profits generated by his successful Magic Mike franchise.

Having been married to Tatum when the first Magic Mike film launched, Jenna contends she’s entitled to a 50% share in his profits, including the franchise’s film releases, numerous live performances, and even a reality television adaptation.

However, Tatum has denied allegations of financial subterfuge, asserting that he has not attempted to conceal any assets or funds from his ex-wife.

He also claims to have proposed multiple solutions to reach a fair agreement, all of which were allegedly rebuffed by Dewan. While acknowledging Dewan’s rightful claim to a portion of the proceeds from Magic Mike, Channing’s legal team argues his post-separation profits should be regarded as distinct assets deserving of consideration.

Channing has made millions through the Magic Mike franchise, reportedly earning a $21 million for the sequel Magic Mike XXL , released in 2015.

Moreover, with Tatum’s reported net worth standing at $80 million and Jenna’s personal fortune at $30 million, the financial gap between them is striking, with Tatum’s wealth nearly tripling that of his ex-wife.

Jenna and Channing first met on the set of their 2006 film Step Up, where they first met. After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in 2009, in a ceremony held in Malibu, California. Their only child, daughter Everly, was born in 2013, but the couple officially separated in 2018.

While Channing is engaged to Zoe Kravitz and Jenna is expecting her third child with her new partner, Steve Kazee, their divorce battle remains ongoing.
