Chris Pratt has shared proof of his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, feeding livestock in his family’s kitchen.
The Jurassic World star shared an Instagram post on Tuesday to wish Arnold a happy 77th birthday with a series of photos.
Chris, 45, first showed the two sitting across from each other while playing an intense game of chess.
The second shot showed Chris squatting behind the Terminator star, who sat in a large leather chair while hanging outside.
In the third snap, Chris, who is currently expecting his third child with Arnold’s daughter, Katherine, called out his father-in-law for feeding the barn animals inside his house.
The photo had Arnold standing in his kitchen alongside Chris and Katherine’s two daughters, Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 2, seemingly handing one of them a small piece of food.
On the floor next to them was a gray-colored pig with black spots, waiting to be fed.
“Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind,” Chris wrote in his caption.
“Looking forward to another year of sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings and hand feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen.”
CLOSE BOND
The movie stars have formed a close relationship over the years, with Chris tying the knot with Arnold’s daughter in 2019.
In an interview with People last year, the Guardians of the Galaxy star gushed over having the former California governor in his corner.
“Arnold’s support means the world to me on a couple different levels,” Chris said.
Chris Pratt engaged to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine, a year after finalising divorce with Anna Faris
“Just being his son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support.”
Chris also noted how much he looked up to Arnold as an actor.
“But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator,” he explained.
BRING ARNOLD IN!
Arnold has had an extremely illustrious career in Hollywood, especially starring in the Terminator franchise.
Most recently, fans pined for the actor to make a cameo in the new Terminator anime adaptation, Terminator Zero, after its trailer was released earlier this month.
The upcoming film will feature Justified actor Timothy Olyphant as the Terminator.
While viewers were divided on the quality of the upcoming anime, many fans begged for the return of the original star.
“Arnold better have a cameo!!” demanded one person.
“I want to see the T-800 make an appearance in the series,” said a second.
Arnold was known as T-800 in the 2019 film Terminator: Dark Fate.
“I know this is unrealistic, but can’t we get this guy back one more time as the T800,” a third begged.
