Eamonn Holmes has made a decision on his GB News return after lashing out at trolls over his age gap romance.
The TV star will be returning to screens after taking time off with his new partner.
After three weeks away, Eamonn will be back on Monday alongside co-presenter Isabel Webster.
The 64-year-old was pictured on holiday with new girlfriend Katie Alexander who is 42.
Eamonn and the relationship counsellor were seen together on a cruise as they enjoyed the last of the summer sun.
The pair have been criticised for their age gap after Eamonn and wife Ruth Langsford announced that they were going their separate ways back in May.
Ruth and Eamonn split this year
However, he will now be returning to his GB News job. The Daily Mail reported: “Eamonn’s had a lovely break and has enjoyed spending some time with Katie. But he’s looking forward to getting back to work. Eamonn’s had a tough few months with health issues and his split from Ruth. But throwing himself into work has really helped. He can’t wait to get back to the day job.”
Following the negative comments he has received, Eamonn has liked a series of posts slamming trolls and asking people to be kind. Eamonn liked a comment which said: “So many nasty comments! If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all…”
The former couple share a 22-year-old son named Jack together, and Eamonn also has three grown-up children from a previous marriage.
