Kate Middleton recently made her first public appearance since revealing she was undergoing treatment for cancer, but few details have been made about the duchess’s health since then.

Now a new theory suggests Kate had to travel abroad for treatment, specifically to the U.S.

Various online sleuths claim to have spotted Kate in Houston, Texas in recent weeks.

While she was at Trooping the Color in the U.K. earlier this week, it would explain why she missed rehearsals.

According to one Reddit user. they claimed to be “visiting friends at the St. Regis and they spoke about her being at the hotel.”

Additionally, another individual mentioned hearing from a staff member at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center that Kate had been seen there. Another Reddit user claimed to have seen her “hiking and laughing with her bodyguard” on a trail near the hospital, suggesting she’s staying nearby.

“There are multiple witnesses who claim to have seen her in Texas,” a source told Life & Style . “It’s believed she’s flying back and forth for secret cancer treatment there.”

If Kate is indeed receiving treatment at MD Anderson, she would join a list of notable celebrities who have sought care there, including Terry Bradshaw, Kelly Preston, and Eddie Van Halen. MD Anderson is renowned globally for its expertise in treating various cancers, specializing in breast, ovarian, lung, prostate, melanoma, and leukemia, among others, and consistently ranks as one of the world’s top cancer centers.

Kate Gave An Update On Her Health

Prior to her appearance at the 2024 Trooping the Color, Kate released a public letter giving an update on her health. She’s still declined to share what type of cancer she has or the course of her treatment.

“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days,” she shared. “On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”

Middleton continued, “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months.”

Kate was previously pressured into revealing her cancer diagnosis after online buzz gained momentum when the duchess wasn’t spotted publicly for weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

It’s unknown if her cancer is related. But the concern about Kate’s health and whereabouts prompted her to release a video confirming her cancer. Kate said she was waiting to disclose the news publicly until she had a chance to explain it to the three young kids she shares with Prince William.

The British royal family is experiencing multiple health crises in addition to Kate’s battle with cancer. Shortly before her condition was exposed, King Charles revealed he’s dealing with cancer. Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, is also battling cancer.
