Jennifer Aniston broke down in tears as she was asked about her former Friends co-star Matthew Perry in a recent interview.

On Thursday, Jen, 55, was paired up with Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, 34.
In a clip shared on X, formerly Twitter, a person behind the camera requested that the TV star ask Jen what it’s like watching Friends since Matthew Perry’s tragic death.
In October 2023, the actor was found dead in a jacuzzi.
In December 2023, it was ruled his death was caused by the acute effects of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic used as a treatment for depression.

Friends was a popular sitcom that lasted 10 seasons throughout the 90s and early 00s and starred Jen, Matthew, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow.
The show followed a group of friends and their life endeavors in New York City.
THE ONE WHERE FRIENDS TURNS 30
When Jen heard the question, she began tearing up.
“Oh God, Don’t make me cry!” she said with a shaky voice.
“You’re already crying,” Quinta said.
“Do you want a minute? We don’t have to talk about [it.]”

Jen leaned her head back so she didn’t mess up her makeup.
A producer was quick to hand Jen a tissue before looking back at the Golden Globe winner.
Jen insisted that she wanted to talk about it, she just needed a few seconds to gather her thoughts and feelings.
“These are happy tears,” the actress said.

When she was ready, Quinta explained to Jen that the beloved comedy show was turning 30 years old in 2024 and how impactful it was.
She even considered it “one of the best shows on television.”
“It’s so strange to even think that it’s 30 years old,” Jen exclaimed.
‘THE EXCITEMENT WE HAD’
She then went into detail about how on the premiere day she and Matthew had lunch together and decided to pull a prank on Lisa.

That day, Jen said, she was getting her hair colored so the Just Go With It actress stole the nozzle from the hairdresser and began washing Lisa’s hair.
It definitely flew out of control,” she joked.
“It was unfortunate, but, the excitement we had and it feels like yesterday.
“The fact that it’s had this long and wonderful life and it still means a lot to people is one of the greatest gifts I think all six of us could ever imagine.”
The Morning Show star explained that they all still keep in touch.
“It’s a family forever.”
