Jennifer Garner’s three children are almost all grown up, but the actress recently said she could see herself having another baby at the age of 52, so long as her body would allow.

Jen’s comments come amid reports suggest she’s engaged to her long-time boyfriend John Miller.

Garner made an appearance on the Kelly Corrigan Wonders: About Your Mother five-part podcast series. During her episode, Christy Turlington asked Garner, “Did you like being pregnant?”

Jennifer Garner Said She Was “Born to Breed”

Jennifer replied positively, saying she was grateful to have had a smooth pregnancy with all of her kids, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck. “Yeah, I had great, I’m so lucky, I had great pregnancies,” Garner explained. “I’ve been pregnant three times in my life, I have three kids. I’m so lucky.”

The 13 Going on 30 actress also acknowledged how lucky she felt to have conceived her kid quickly with no fertility struggles. “I think combined, I tried … All of them were on purpose, I should say,” she continued. “And combined, I probably tried four or five months.”

“You were born to breed, girl,” Kelly Corigan replied, to which Jen said, “Oh my gosh, I’m 52 next week and I bet I could have one in a field right now.” She later added, “I was born to breed, for sure.”

Garner Reportedly Got Engaged In Secret

While Garner was candid about her experiences as a mom, she declined to disclose any details about her relationship with John Miller, including commenting on continuing rumors the couple are engaged.

Speaking to Life & Style, a source said the couple got engaged years ago but isn’t in a rush to make any other big moves. “John spent a long time making Jen an engagement ring and gave it to her two years ago, around April 2022, which is when she turned 50,” they explained.

While the pair are apparently thinking of something small and intimate for their wedding, the source said Garner’s ex-husband and his current wife Jennifer Lopez likely won’t be invited to the festivities.

“It would be awkward to have Ben at the wedding because Jen would have to invite J.Lo. And Jen and John don’t want to invite any more publicity than necessary, they want no distractions,” they went on. “This is their special day. They’re much more low-key and want to keep their wedding private.”

Garner lost her father earlier this year, sharing the news on social media. Reports say her ex Affleck has been a huge support in the wake of her loss, which may be bothering Lopez, considering she’s been said to have an issue with how close Ben remains to his ex-wife. But while Garner is happy to share her parenting anecdotes, co-parenting is one topic she usually steers clear of.
