“Several people talked to me about intermittent fasting, and I just gave it a shot and [was] surprised at how quickly it was effective,” Plemons revealed.

Reflecting on his journey, he noted, “Eventually, he says he ‘felt like I was in the rhythm, I was feeling better, and something shifted in my head. I just sort of got a handle on it.’” This candid discussion sheds light on Plemons’ commitment to health and fitness amidst his evolving career and personal life.

Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It doesn’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them. There are several different methods of intermittent fasting, but the most common ones involve fasting for 16 hours a day (often including sleep time) and eating within an 8-hour window, or fasting for 24 hours once or twice a week.

The primary benefit of intermittent fasting for weight loss lies in its ability to help regulate calorie intake. By restricting the time period during which you eat, intermittent fasting can naturally lead to a reduction in overall calorie consumption without the need for strict calorie counting. This calorie restriction can promote weight loss by creating a consistent calorie deficit over time.
