As swifties continue to speculate about the reason Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s relationship ended, the actor is reportedly not worried about the controversy surrounding their breakup. Just like Taylor has moved on and is happily in love with Travis Kelce, it seems Joe Alwyn has found someone new as well.

A source recently spoke to PEOPLE about the mostly reclusive actor, saying that he’s “doing well” and “focused on work.” Despite work being his main focus, the source added that “He’s dating and happy” and trying to stay away from the scandal surrounding the end of his past relationship. “He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way.”

The insider said that Joe Alwyn has completely “moved on” from Taylor Swift and is not interested in rehashing the tawdry details about their breakup. He “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her,” the source stated. “He was in love with her, and it just didn’t work out.”

The source then went on to focus on his acting career, and, perhaps unknowingly, hinted at one of the theories swifties had come up with. Taylor Swift fans believe a contributing factor to the breakup is that the actor couldn’t stand the level of exposure that comes with being in a relationship with a superstar.

“Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it,” the source confirmed. “He’s not comfortable in the spotlight.”

Fans Are Sure Joe Alwyn Cheated On Taylor Swift

The theory seems to be confirmed as the song goes on, with Taylor singing “I just don’t understand / How you don’t miss me / In The Black Dog / When someone plays The Starting Line and you jump up / But she’s too young to know this song / That was intertwined in the magic fabric of our dreaming.”

The Black Dog is a pub in London that swifties have swarmed ever since it got a mention in The Tortured Poets Department, and the pub’s social media manager Lily Bottomley has since hinted that it’s true Joe Alwyn was a regular there.

“I don’t want to give too much away,” she said, but “We do have a certain blond regular who frequents.”

Whether it’s true that the actor brought a young woman there behind Taylor’s back, and whether that was a contributing factor to their breakup, it doesn’t seem to matter anymore, as it looks like both of them have moved on and are happy in new relationships.
