Johnny’s ex Tessa issued a heartwrenching message to those who took his life.
“If the person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry, but you shot the wrong guy,” she sobbed.
“You can get a real job. I know the job market’s hard, but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal – especially take a life over it.”
Tessa continued by saying that “human life is disregarded too easily,” and she urged listeners to “make changes as a community.”
Johnny’s ex begged her community to “support each other.”
“Maybe that’s what Johnny’s gift is for us; maybe he’s gifting that to all of us.”
TESSA’S PLEA
The actress then launched an appeal on social media, begging her community to find the killers.
“These criminals can’t keep being on the street, and they can’t keep being sent back and have no repercussions for their actions,” she said in her video.
“It’s not ok; this can’t keep happening. So many lives are being lost, just us not being smart – we have to be smarter as a community.”
In the caption of her post, Tessa included a poll about bettering laws to reduce crime rates in California.

She asked her followers to contact the Los Angeles Police Department if they had any information on Johnny’s killers.
The movie director also urged fans to donate to GoFundMe to support the actor’s family with the cost of his memorial service.
Tessa noted that she would be disabling likes and comments to “raise awareness for mental health issues related to online trolling and social media addiction.”
She pleaded with her followers to also “raise awareness for stricter crime and theft laws in California” by using the hashtag #justiceforjohnny.
TRAGIC LOSS
Johnny, 37, was killed while leaving work at a rooftop bar in Los Angeles over the weekend.
He was walking with a coworker when he thought he saw his car being towed.
When he approached three men in masks surrounding his vehicle, one of them shot him, police said.
The General Hospital star was rushed to the ER, but he died shortly after.
According to Deadline, the three suspects are still at large as of Tuesday, May 28.
LOST LOVE
In her video, Tessa, who met Johnny when she first moved to Los Angeles, also opened up about their relationship.
“We met in 2013 when I first moved out to Hollywood to pursue acting, and he did too. We were friends at first and then kind of fell in love,” she shared.
“It was really fiery, like too fiery – we brought out the best in each other and then also the darkest parts of each other. Our lives were both forever changed.”
When Johnny and Tessa got engaged, she said she wore the ring that once belonged to her grandparents.

In the video, the actress showed that she was still wearing the jewelry, admitting that she “never takes it off.”
Though their romantic relationship didn’t work out, the Cinema Legend producer said she will “always love him.”
“It was rushed. We were too young and kids and healing – but I’m just so proud of the man he’s become, and it’s so sad that crime in LA had to do this.”
