Justin and Hailey Bieber surprised fans with a heartwarming announcement that they will soon become parents. The couple have been married since 2018, and now that they’re 30 and 27, they are taking the next step in their marriage.

The announcement of Hailey’s pregnancy was incredibly emotional. They both posted on Instagram, tagging each other, and gave their fans a glimpse of what was a beautiful and intimate vow renewal ceremony they had in Hawaii.

Hailey Bieber was wearing a lacy wedding dress and a veil, while Justin was dressed very casually and wearing his trusty baseball cap. They posted a little vintage-looking video that showed them kissing in the wind, and several photos, some in black and white, of the ceremony.

Then there were a few shots of Hailey’s baby bump, some of her alone, and others of her posing with Justin. They both looked overjoyed as they reaffirmed their love for each other and shared with the world the news that their family was growing. Fans in the comments were immediately supportive and shared their happiness with them.

The news was a burst of joy for fans, and undeniably for their families, but it seems parenthood was always in the cards for the Biebers. The singer and the former model married fairly young, so it makes sense that it’s only happening almost six years into their marriage, but they always knew they wanted to be parents.

In fact, according to something Justin Bieber said back in 2020 in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, it’s unlikely they will stop at just one kid, as they like the idea of having a big family.

“I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out,” he said. “I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do… I think she wants to have a few.” At the time, he explained, Hailey was not ready to be a mother, and he firmly stated that the whole process would be up to her, as she would be going through the changes. “I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think… she’s just not ready yet. And that’s okay.”

Hailey Bieber also hinted in October that she wanted to have a kid, but she didn’t like the idea of struggling through her pregnancy in public. That’s probably why they waited until she was showing to announce it.

“When there comes a day that that is true, you, you as in the internet, will be the last to know,” she stated.
