Katie Price’s children have urged her to stop after she underwent her latest £10,000 facelift.
The former glamour model is no stranger to plastic surgery but it’s reported her children want to put a stop to her mum’s desire to “be a Bratz doll”.
Katie – who is mum to Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett 10, and nine-year-old Bunny – recently told fans her new surgery aim.
She said: “I will never stop with this surgery. I want to be a Bratz doll. It’s my body and I do what I want to do.
That’s how it should be, your body, your choice. The difference is I talk about it. There’s a lot of people out there who hide [what they’ve had done].”
A source revealed Katie’s children with ex-husband Peter Andre – Junior and Princess – are concerned about their mum. “Princess worries about all her mum’s cosmetic surgeries and thinks that Katie is surrounding herself with people who don’t tell the truth. Instead, they’re giving her the green light to keep going, but it’s not their body, and she’s not their mum,” a source told Closer.
“Princess is angry and Junior is embarrassed – he’s said Katie is cringe and needs serious help.” The source added: “Their mum has become a laughing stock and the brunt of jokes. It was bad before, but now it’s awful – it affects all the kids so negatively.”
Katie has undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries in the past and has previously admitted she thinks she struggles with body dysmorphia. She said, last month: “I’m not content now, I’m having more surgery next week. My mum says I’ve got body dysmorphia. I don’t think I ever look in the mirror and think I look good. I ne never have done so there’s obviously an underlying issue.”
The former glamour model echoed these concerns at a launch event for her latest memoir This Is Me. Speaking about an upcoming trip with her son Harvey, Katie said: “I’m taking him on holiday next week because I’m having my face done.” The TV star’s sister Sophie, who was hosting a Q&A with her sister, said: “Tell her she doesn’t need it!”
