She’s found love again!
Kevin Costner’s ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, is engaged to her boyfriend of over a year, Josh Connor,
who happens to be one of the “Yellowstone” alum’s former friends.
Baumgartner, 50, said “Yes” to Connor’s beachside proposal in Santa Barbara, California,
on Jan. 26, less than one year after finalizing her divorce with Costner.
“It was about to rain, so almost no one else was on the beach when Josh got down on one knee,” a source close to the couple told People magazine on Wednesday.
Those who know the pair weren’t surprised about the proposal, with the insider noting, “They spent Christmas in New York together last month, where it all began. They are both over the moon and excited for their future together.”
The Post obtained photos of Baumgartner and her soon-to-be husband, who is a financier, all loved up in December while arriving at “Top Chef” winner Harold Dieterle’s Il Totano in the West Village.
The duo smiled as Connor, 49, held an umbrella over Baumgartner’s head to shield her from the rain.
Connor has an interesting connection to Costner, 70, and Baumgartner, as he was their neighbor when they were married — and he got dragged into their bitter divorce battle.
The handbag designer filed for divorce from Costner in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage, listing their date of separation as April 11 of that year.
Baumgartner was first spotted with Connor during a trip to Hawaii in July 2023, which included the kids she has with Costner: Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14.
In August 2023, during a child support hearing, Baumgartner’s lawyer insisted that she and Connor were friends and “nothing more than that.”
However, Costner’s then-estranged wife was photographed holding hands with him months later.
A friend confirmed they were dating in January 2024.
“Christine and Josh’s relationship started as a friendship, so they have a really strong foundation. They share the same values, and she feels so happy and supported in this new relationship,” an insider told People last month. “They’re so in love. It’s been a very natural and positive step forward for Christine.”
When they finalized their divorce last year, Costner was ordered to pay his ex $63,209 in monthly child support.
While the actor has never addressed his former wife’s relationship with his ex-pal, insiders shared he “had strong suspicions that something was going on between Christine and Josh” before they went public with their romance.
