Khloe Kardashian shocked fans when she revealed she was having a second child with Tristan Thompson via surrogate, months after it was revealed he’d fathered another child during his relationship with Khloe (and was denying paternity until the child’s mother filed a lawsuit).

Khloe and Tristan went on to welcome a son, Tatum, in 2022. And while Tristan had another son with Maralee Nichols only months before, he’s allegedly never met their child, despite being on court-mandated child support.

Tristan also has an older son, Prince, with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. He started dating Khloe when Jordan was pregnant.

Needless to say, the situation is messy. But it may get even more complicated, as reports say Khloe is considering having a third child with Tristan, even though they’re not in a relationship, at least publicly.

Why Khloe And Tristan May Have Another Baby Via Surrogate

“Khloe has always wanted a big family like her sisters and always said she wanted four children,” a source told The Sun. “She’s seriously considering having a third baby, via surrogate, with Tristan.”

The insider explained that while Khloe may have given up on a romantic relationship with Tristan, she appreciates how he’s a good father to their two children, even if he has no relationship with his other child.

“Their relationship might have been rocky in the past, but he’s always been a good dad and she loves co-parenting with him,” the source went on.

“She’s telling friends that since his mother passed he’s really grown up as a person,” the source continued. “She’s turning 40 soon and wants to take control of her life and go after what she wants – and that’s a third child.”

The Kardashians Praise Tristan’s Parenting Though He Doesn’t See All His Kids

Despite Tristan’s long history of infidelity, including being exposed for cheating on Khloe while she was pregnant with their eldest child, daughter True, 6, the Kardashian-Jenners have sang his praises when it comes to him being a father to Tatum and True. Even Kim Kardashian has said the NBA star is like a father figure to her own kids, comments which got the reality star in hot water.

“When he saw me struggling with my kids, he stepped up,” Kim said during an episode of The Kardashians while referring to her divorce from Kanye West, which was finalized in November 2022.

“He started showing up to the games. He picked Saint up, takes him to dinner and will always come to my defense, especially if it’s stuff with me and my ex,” the SKIMS founder continued. “I just never forgot that. I’ll never really throw someone away and act like I don’t think they can grow and evolve.”

In response, Kai Craig, the sister of Jordan Craig, made a scathing post calling Tristan out for allegedly being an absentee parent to his eldest son, Prince.

“It has been so hard for me to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much,” she said via Instagram. “It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince. The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it’s for a private party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable.”
