Kim Kardashian has been on holiday with her children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, and decided to give fans a glimpse into their lives with her recent Instagram post.
Kim posted a bunch of snaps that appear to be taken from a lakeside camping trip, and the family looks to have had a wonderful time.
She captioned the pictures with a simple message, writing, “Summertime Funtime.”
The photos show Kim and her kids relaxing, drawing, and smiling for the cameras. These are adorable family photos, but the post has surprisingly received mixed reactions.
While some fans think it is sweet to see what the reality star and her children have been up to, others have been critical.
Kim Kardashian’s Holiday Photos Get Mixed Reaction
Kim Kardashian’s vacation photos have received many comments. Some of them are positive and include messages like “Perfect Family,” “They are all adorable,” and “I love this so much. Adorable.” Other fans have praised Kim for being able to get a family photo at all because getting kids to pose can be impossible. “A photo with all the kids! We know how hard that is, hahaha, a miracle,” a comment read.
However, there has also been a negative backlash towards how Kim is raising her kids. “Born to know what camera this is,” a comment reads. “Finally we see Kim with her kids,” another critic wrote, suggesting that Kim does not spend enough time with her children. Her choice of location, specifically the tipi tents, has also been questioned. “I hope indigenous people put up those tipis lmao,” another comment reads.
Kim Kardashian On Motherhood
Kim Kardashian shares much of her life with the public, and this opens her up to criticism. This included comments about her parenting. Regardless of what others think, Kim speaks highly of her children, and she has been open about the trials and tribulations, including the challenges of being a single mom (after she and her ex-husband, Kanye West, divorced).
“I just can’t do it anymore, I just need to get away,” she said on an episode of The Kardashians because her children were “banging on the door, just screaming” while she tried to conduct an online interview. Fans will also know this is not the first time she has been candid about just how hard it is to raise four young children.
In an interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, she confessed to feeling guilty. “Mom guilt is probably the hardest thing. I think that you have to also separate, though, and understand that you need your own bit of sanity so you have to do what makes you happy,” Kim said. “I love to dive into my work, and that’s, like, a bit of my therapy and my routine to keep me going.”
She continued, “I have chats with my girlfriends when our kids are having tantrums, and there could be things going on that we don’t even know about. You feel like you’re the worst mom if something’s going on, and you can’t fix it, you have no idea how to change it, your kids are fighting, whatever it is.”
