Leonardo DiCaprio has a reputation for how he treats the ladies, but the actor recently got backlash for seemingly not acting like a gentleman during a shopping trip with his 17-year-old niece.
Paparazzi photos captured the actor on Monday enjoying a day out with his family in Los Angeles. Joining Leonardo, 49, for the outing were his niece, Normandie Farrar, his father, George DiCaprio, and his stepmother, Peggy Farrar.

For the day out, Leonardo opted for a low-key look, wearing a face mask and a black baseball cap. He dressed casually in a baggy gray t-shirt and pants, layered with a Moncler jacket.
Normandie, on the other hand, looked cheerful as she strolled next to her uncle, wearing a light layer of makeup. She kept her long brunette hair loose and appeared relaxed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans, accessorized with various pieces of jewelry.
During their shopping spree, Normandie appeared to be purchasing plenty of luxury items, making stops at Tiffany & Co. and Prada. She struggled to carry two large bags of designer merchandise, along with her jacket, purse, and a bottle of water. In contrast, her famous uncle walked alongside her, holding only a small bottle of water and seemingly choosing not to help with the shopping bags in a very ungentlemanly move.
Despite the load, and her uncle’s decision not to assist her, Normandie seemed to be in very good spirits during their shopping trip.
Leonardo’s Creepy Dating Habits Were Recently Exposed

It’s not only with his family that Leonardo isn’t known to be chivalrous. There have also been various allegations when it comes to his personal life and how he treats the women he dates.
The Titanic star has become known for his reputation as a womanizer and his tendency to date women younger than 25, despite being nearly 50 himself. Earlier this year, model Hieke Koning, 22, came forward to share her less-than-pleasant experience with the actor, claiming that Leo “isn’t the best hook-up.”
In her revelation, Koning described a peculiar habit DiCaprio has in the bedroom, one that she believes would be off-putting to anyone.
“It was in a secret club in LA, one where you only get in by invitation. I saw him sitting there in his black hoodie and black cap and we made eye contact,” Hieke recounted to the Dutch edition of Playboy .
She claims she was then approached by DiCaprio’s manager, who informed her that the actor wanted to speak with her. She agreed and was led over to where DiCaprio was seated. When Leo allegedly suggested they go somewhere private to continue their encounter, Hieke declined, which she said took the actor by surprise.
“He reacted very shocked. Of course he wasn’t used to it. When I said I didn’t know him well enough, he responded sweetly. I respect that,” she stated. “Whereupon he turned to another girl and took her home.”
Interestingly, Hieke mentioned that she knows several women who have gone home with DiCaprio and, like her, had unimpressive experiences, revealing DiCaprio’s alleged bedroom habits.
“One friend said he kept his earphones in during sex because he didn’t want to hear her,” she claimed. “And another said he even put a pillow on her head. No, Leo is too weird and too old.”
DiCaprio has never addressed Hieke’s claims.
