Fans Were Worried About Martin Lawrence Who Looked Frail During His Interview Alongside Will Smith And Jimmy Fallon
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence had plenty to talk about during their appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. The conversation included how they landed their roles for the franchise, and some of the craziest stunts they’ve ever done. However, fans instantly noticed something was wrong at the start when Martin Lawrence started to speak. His speech seemed to be slower, and a little more off.
It caused lots of concerns among fans, especially given that the day prior, it seemed like Will Smith was helping his co-star to walk during a parade.
A fan on YouTube gave some clarity as to what had taken place.
“For all that are wondering, Martin suffered a stroke, and your seeing the after effects.”

Despite the hectic schedule, Lawrence was still there and in good spirits.
The YouTube footage of the interview cut their walk-in, which might’ve showed Lawrence struggling. Nonetheless, the actor remained positive, and told fans he’s just fine.
“I am fine. I am in God’s hands. I am blessed. I am glad to be waking up every day and everything. No need for people to be concerned. I am healthy as hell. Stop the rumors.”
Overshadowed by all of this is the fact that Will Smith finally returned to a late night talk show after a massive hiatus following the Oscar slap. Credit to Smith, who didn’t look awkward or rusty. Will looked like his usual self during what was a very entertaining interview, nonetheless.
Jimmy Fallon Was Also In The Headlines For His Interview The Day Prior With Jessica Alba
Jimmy Fallon has been all over the headlines lately. The day prior, Fallon had another guest fans hadn’t seen in a very long time, Jessica Alba.
Fallon was praised for the interview, particularly given that he didn’t comment on Jessica Alba’s appearance.
The interview was strictly about her life as a mom and recent film, Trigger Warning. In the past, Jessica Alba revealed that she was fed up with those in Hollywood only going after her for her looks.
- Alba revealed, “I was meant to feel ashamed if I tempted men. Then I stopped eating a lot when I became an actress. I made myself look more like a boy so I wouldn’t get as much attention. I went through a big tomboy phase.”
- “In Hollywood, you’re really preyed upon. They see a young girl, and they just want to touch you inappropriately or talk to you inappropriately or think that they’re allowed to be aggressive with you in a way.”
Alba basically created a shell for herself, and eventually left Hollywood altogether. Fans are glad to see Alba doing well, and back in the spotlight.
