While parts of Minnesota are currently colder than Mars, Miley Cyrus is staying warm in sunny California, baring her enviable abs in one of her signature crop tops while walking her pet pooch Mary Jane around her Los Angeles-area home on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The “Wrecking Ball” beauty flaunted her supertoned tummy in a tight black tank from Rad + Refined by Jacqueline Rezak, paired with cropped gray leggings and Nike tennis shoes while wearing a sweatshirt tied around her waist (in case she gets chilly!).
She sported a large pair of headphones and carried what appears to be a designer backpack, as she took her precious pooch for a stroll around the neighborhood.
Cyrus, who has been growing out her short hair for some time, pulled up her blonde locks in a high pony tail, ignoring the pesky paps as she doted on her very important pet, whom she regularly posts adorable Instagrams with in bed.
Miley—who split from former fiancé Liam Hemsworth in September—has been making headlines for her romance with Kellan Lutz as of late after the pair was spotted making out and dancing together at the Dec. 27 opening of Beacher’s Madhouse in Las Vegas.
After their sighting in Sin City, a source close to both told E! News the singer and the former Twilight stud are indeed an item, but it’s not very serious as of yet.
And while the insider also said Miley “likes him a lot,” and added that “he is her type,” the source noted that the 28-year-old actor isn’t a fan of all the attention their liaison has attracted.
Kellan has since denied the dating rumors, most recently opening up to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Today, “It’s comical for me. I’m a public figure, she’s a public figure, I’ve been friends with her for six years and we’re in the same circle…I’m dating everyone these days, let’s just start that rumor!”
But while he may publicly preach his single status, there’s no denying Lutz thinks Miley is a wonderful woman. “She’s an amazing girl and she has a great head on her shoulders,” he told E! News. “I love hanging out with her because she is who she is and she’s such a shining star.”
