Prince Harry has reportedly been left “shell-shocked” after a prominent US magazine took aim at him and his wife.
The 40-year-old, who has lived in the US since 2020, was recently criticised in a brutal article shared by Vanity Fair.
The article, titled Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Big Business Ambitions, Five Years After Their Royal Exit, revealed fresh claims about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
One less brutal claim was that Harry would be more than happy to let his wife be the family’s breadwinner.
Speaking to Heat magazine, one insider said Harry and Meghan felt betrayed by the article.
“This article was horrific in so many ways, and of course Meghan feels completely degraded and betrayed,” said the insider.

Discussing Harry, the source added: “Harry is also shell-shocked – it’s a full-blown assault on both their characters, like someone’s taken a sledgehammer to almost every aspect of their lives.
“It can’t be ignored, either. Vanity Fair has so much weight and credibility in high-society circles on both sides of the pond, and the scale of the allegations is incredibly wide-ranging and damaging.”
According to the Mirror, Harry is set for another major court battle this year in his long-running legal case against the Home Office over taxpayer-funded police protection when he and his family are in the UK. The hearing is due to take place on April 8 or 9.
