It’s no surprise that Prince Louie shares some characteristics with his father, Prince William—after all, he is William’s son.

However, it wasn’t until Louie was a baby that royal fans really began to notice how much the youngest prince resembled his father as a child.

When Prince William was christened at just six weeks old in 1983, he looked serene and peaceful, much like his younger son, Louie, who was photographed similarly calm as an infant.

While George and Charlotte’s resemblance to Prince William is striking, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Louie takes after his mother, Princess Catherine, in both his features and personality.

Catherine recently shared a childhood photograph of herself enjoying a family Christmas, which had many royal watchers remarking how much Louie looks identical to her at that age. From his chubby cheeks to his adorable smile, Louie shares many traits with his mother and the Middleton family.

In September 2022, as Louie, George, and Charlotte headed off for their first day of school, royal watchers were quick to notice how Louie looked just like his grandpa. One royal fan remarked, “Every time I see a photograph of Prince Louie, I see his grandpa Michael Middleton. It’s sweet—he’s Michael’s mini-me.”

While Louie shares clear similarities with his father and maternal grandfather, some fans have also pointed out the subtle likenesses between Louie and his uncle, Prince Harry. At the 2023 Trooping the Colour, Louie wore an outfit almost identical to one worn by Harry in 1989. The side-by-side comparison of the two, both in the same military-inspired attire, highlights a few shared characteristics, though the resemblance is not as strong as Louie’s with his parents or grandfather.
