The former child star teamed her cute frock with a pair of comfortable white leather pumps, while toting her belongings in a maroon leather handbag from her collaboration with Coach.

Wearing her raven locks scraped back from her face, the Come And Get It hitmaker injected a bolt of color to her ensemble with a slick of dark berry lipstick.

Selena has been based in New York since earlier this summer when she moved into a $16,000-a-month apartment in Greenwich Village with her Grammy-winning musician boyfriend The Weeknd, 27.

The actress started dating the Starboy hitmaker – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – in January, just weeks after his split from long-term girlfriend, supermodel Bella Hadid, 21, a former friend of Selena’s.

The move from Los Angeles to New York City came when Selena landed a role in Woody Allen’s as-yet-untitled new project alongside the likes of Elle Fanning, Jude Law and Timothée Chalamet.

Selena has been back at work in recent weeks after revealing she had undergone a secret transplant when she suffered kidney failure back in May.

The star’s best friend Francia Raisa, 29, stepped in as a kidney donor to help after Selena was put on the transplant list – and was found to be a match.

Selena said in a heartwarming statement at the time: ‘I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of.
